From the moment we meet, I aim to create an atmosphere where you feel relaxed and heart-wide-open-excited. In the chaos of planning and timelines, I make it my mission to help you feel grounded, calm and seen. From simple exercises like taking a deep breath to simply looking, really looking, at your partner and remembering this is your person. I’ll be there to keep the focus on what matters, rather than worrying about posing for the camera. With over a decade of experience & having shot over 300 weddings, I’ve seen it all. And, I promise to show up and care for you no matter where the day leads.

The Meeting
This is the initial emailing/phone call/coffee date (aka whatever your communication of choice is). We’ll go over all of your details and see if we vibe (spoiler alert – if you made it this far, I know we will).
The Planning
Once you decide that I’m the photographer for you, I will send you a contract + invoice to get things solidified. Once that’s done – this is where the magic begins. We go over your vision for everything, collaborate on a mood board, plan your engagement session (this is where I encourage you to go as big as you want), and then we start to finalize your wedding timeline. And, I’m always here to help with any other questions or ideas you may have. Your day is about YOU and I can’t wait to help make your dreams come true.

The Delivery
You will receive your preview gallery within one week of your day to be able to share with friends and family. I’m very intentional in everything I do, and I want to be with you through every step of the process, ‘til the very end and beyond. This means I do all of my own editing (no outsourcing here!) so your full gallery may take up to 3 months for delivery.

Let’s answer those faq’s
I just need both of your full names, cell numbers + emails in order to get a contract written up and sent over. A signed contract as well as your retainer fee (1/3 of your package) is required in order to secure your date with Summer Leigha Photo.
Anything within a 1-hour radius of my hometown (Bloomington, IL) will not have any sort of travel fee. Anything within the 1.5 to 5-hour radius of Bloomington will have a simple gas + lodging fee of $250. And anything over a 5-hour drive, or that requires a flight within the US, will have a travel fee of $900 to cover flight, hotel + rental car. International travel fees will be researched and charged at cost.
I offer an all inclusive destination elopement package that includes all travel as well as a local elopement package if you are wanting to keep your elopement close to home. Essentially, I’ll go wherever your love takes me. <3 Get more elopement details here!
Absolutely! I will help build your timeline from the ground up to make sure we fully maximize our timeline
I would describe my style as moody + romantic as well as earthy + honest. I believe in truly authentic photos, so while I will absolutely edit your photos style + color wise, I do not photoshop you in any way. You are beautiful the way you are. <3
I personally go through and edit every single one of your images in my signature moody and romantic style (no outsourcing here!). So your gallery may take up to 3 months to receive. However, I do send a preview gallery within a week of your wedding or elopement!
Absolutely, yes! You will receive your gallery with high resolution images that are able to be downloaded. You are also able to print through my lab via your online gallery to guarantee the best print quality, but you can also print them elsewhere.
